Job Summary
RA Rentals in Spencer and Storm Lake, IA is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for visiting and establishing relationships with our customers throughout the surrounding communities of our Spencer and Storm Lake stores.
Successful candidates will be highly self-motivated with a drive to provide customer satisfaction unparalleled in our industry. Products and services this team member will be providing to customers will include forklifts, aerial lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers, skid-loaders and excavators. An ability to confidently represent these types of products and services will benefit a person working in rental sales of material handling and construction equipment. The ideal candidate must be outgoing, enjoy calling on customers, building relationships and selling our equipment rental services.
Primary Responsibilities
· Traveling to local jobsites to develop and maintain relationships with customers.
· Establish new relationships to grow rental revenue.
· Understand and anticipate the needs of current and prospective customers, communicating such needs with the rental team.
· Provide quotes and effective solutions to customers in a timely manner.
Requirements
· Previous experience in equipment sales or a related field is preferred
· Strong communication skills both verbal and written
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
