Rent Portland Homes - Darla Andrew's Office is hiring a Home Inspection technician! This is a full-time position that will need a detail-oriented, People Person.
Mileage is reimbursed for all company travel at .55 cents per mile. Must have a reliable car.
The position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
We are looking for someone who is open to being trained or has experience. If you are experienced in some type of home industry, inspections , handyperson, property manager.
"We Will Train", the following is not a requirement but will help you with the position.
· Climbing a ladder to access and document Smoke detectors.
· Eye for detail
· Proficiency with either Android or Iphone technology
· Real estate, property management experince would be nice, but not manditory.
· Appfolio, Yardi, NWFamily, etc softwares is a nice bonus, but not required
Duties will include the following:
- Auditing our portfolio of 1000 homes for inspections
- Tracking, updating, and recording inspections in Appfolio
- Logging and creating reports for inspections (ideally about 14 per week scheduled)
- Coordinating repairs between owners, vendors, and tenants
- Discussing needed and optional repairs with owners per tenant/landlord law
- Move in / move out inspections as needed
- Overseeing quarterly & yearly inspections
- Photographing properties, issues, and creating reports & work orders
- Following up on work orders through completion - communicating with owners, coordinating tenants and Vendors.
Required:
- Proficiency with either Android or Iphone technology
- Clean driving record & reliable vehicle
- Clean background check
- Valid driver's license
- Punctuality
- Ability to follow through on tasks
