What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager Bilingual (English/Spanish) position at Rental Asset Management?
Main Purpose:
Manage daily operations of rental units by performing administrative and operational tasks to ensure proper functionality and tenant satisfaction. Contact new prospects or future tenants and properly qualify them according to the leasing requirements that allow maintaining occupied units.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain organized and up-to-date property and tenant-related records using the company’s information and management systems.
- Ensure that all information is quickly and accurately available and complies with legal obligations.
- Properly classify, store, and distribute physical documents received from properties.
- Manage property income accurately, detect possible irregularities, and provide precise financial information.
- Maintain positive communication with tenants, fostering good relationships and resolving issues efficiently.
- Assist in preparing budgets and reports by compiling necessary information, performing calculations, and producing clear and concise reports.
- Support the search and selection of new service providers by requesting quotes, comparing prices and services, and ensuring high-quality services at the best price.
- Provide personalized attention to tenants by responding promptly and efficiently to their inquiries and requests with empathy and solutions.
- Prepare and process purchase requests for office supplies and other materials, requesting quotes from suppliers and selecting the best options.
- Continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support the Property Manager's functions when necessary to guarantee the continuity of operations.
Basic or Essential Knowledge:
- Essential Knowledge: Customer service orientation, basic financial management, and property maintenance.
- General Knowledge: Local laws and regulations related to real estate.
- Language Skills: Bilingual (English and Spanish).
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Technical or Technologist Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in related positions.
Or - High School Diploma with a minimum of 3 years of experience in related positions.
