Position Overview

As Senior or Staff Product Designer, you"ll play a critical role in defining the agent experience within RentSpree. Real estate agents are at the core of our platform, and your work will directly impact how they navigate and leverage our tools to streamline their rental workflow, delivering solutions that make agents more efficient and successful.

This is an end-to-end product design role, where you'll own projects from discovery to launch, working closely with product, engineering, and other cross-functional partners to craft best-in-class experiences. Key Responsibilities

Shape the strategy for RentSpree's agent experience, contributing to complex, high-impact design initiatives from concept to launch.
Deliver high-quality designs that balance vision, craft, speed, and business potential.
Partner with product managers, engineers, and other cross-functional partners to help shape and execute on the product roadmap.
Advocate for users, working closely with research, customer support, and data teams to understand what users need, want, and love about RentSpree.
Drive strategic initiatives while also tackling tactical optimizations that improve usability and efficiency.
Use data and insights to inform design decisions, refining and improving the user experience.
Share your work regularly, presenting designs and gathering feedback from peers and stakeholders.
Contribute to our design team's culture and strategy, fostering collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learning.

Requirements

Staff : 8 years of experience with a track record of delivering high-quality, impactful work. / / Senior : 5 years of experience with well-rounded design skills — You can run projects independently from concept to execution.

A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions that solve complex problems elegantly.

User-centered approach – You deeply understand customer needs and advocate for solutions that improve their experience

Collaborative mindset – You work seamlessly across product, engineering, and other teams while contributing to a supportive and engaged design culture.

Proactive, strategic communication – You ensure design work isn't done in a silo by making your process, rationale, and progress clear to teams and stakeholders.

Adaptability – You navigate ambiguity with confidence, you bring clarity to problems, and adjust quickly as priorities shift.

Bias for action – You take initiative, move ideas forward, and focus on impact.

Growth mindset – You continuously evolve your skills, embrace challenges, and help others grow alongside you.

Fluency in Figma – You design, iterate, and prototype efficiently.

Nice to Haves

Experience designing and building tools in small, fast-moving teams.

Strong facilitation skills for workshops and ideation sessions.

Experience conducting user research and usability testing or working closely with researchers to apply insights.

Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.

Location

This role is based in Seattle, WA (hybrid 2x / week in-office).

Remote work on West Coast US / PST may be considered based on experience.
