Patient Service Specialist - Mid Michigan Travel Required

Renue Physical Therapy is seeking a candidate for the role of a Patient Service Specialist. The ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to travel and cover at clinics in the Mid Michigan area as needed when other Patient Service Specialists go on vacation. When this candidate is not needed for coverage at one of our clinics, they will work out of our corporate office doing other administrative tasks. This individual needs to fit in to our close-knit office of hardworking, enthusiastic employees who are committed to serving our patients with exceptional customer service and hospitality at all times.

** This is a full-time role with paid time off benefits. Full time employees receive medical, dental, PTO, life insurance, and STD.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic medical and insurance terminology is essential.
• General knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing, email, internet and electronic medical records software

Job Duties:

• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Assists patients, medical offices, corporate office and other business associates by phone, in person, and or electronically
• Assist patients in completing insurance and privacy forms
• Collect copays, coinsurances and deductibles
