JOB TITLE: MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

SUMMARY: Perform machine troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance. The Maintenance Mechanic will possess skills in one or more of the following areas: mechanical, electrical, fabricating/welding, technical expertise. A minimum of 3 years of factory maintenance experience is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines
- Limit equipment downtime by working with processing on scheduling maintenance
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance service
- Troubleshoot and repair fork trucks, semi tractors and trailers
- Performs repairs on facilities as needed
- Complies with OSHA Safety and Health rules
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

EXPERIENCE:
- Pneumatic & Hydraulic: 2 years (Preferred)
- Electrical & Instrumentation: 2 years (Preferred)
- Factory Maintenance: 3 years (Preferred)
