Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional guest relations. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of hospitality, and the ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with a warm welcome.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure that tables are filled efficiently while maintaining guest comfort.
- Assist guests with reservations and answer any questions regarding wait times or menu options.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front of the restaurant.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service.
- Utilize POS systems, for managing reservations and guest information and taking ToGo orders
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about the restaurant's offerings.
- Assist in resolving any guest concerns or issues promptly and courteously.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for hospitality and helping others create memorable dining experiences.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus but not required.
- Must have open avaiability , including evenings and weekends.
