WHAT YOU WILL DO
Rep Data is seeking a skilled and creative Survey Research Subject Matter Expert (SME) to represent Rep Data’s capabilities in market research, fraud prevention, and data quality assurance. This role requires significant experience in market research, survey methodology, and statistics. Additionally, the SME must possess the necessary skills to explain complex concepts to clients and stakeholders and to help sales leaders scope and sell sophisticated research projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Rep Data’s experienced sales team in identifying and scoping sophisticated market research opportunities and in helping to craft custom proposals, including full-service research projects and RFP responses.
- Work with project delivery teams, including fielding managers and data processing teams, to troubleshoot and resolve project-specific data quality issues, providing insights and solutions that can be applied to mitigate future data quality risks.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to advocate for research best practices and product improvements that ensure high-quality data for our client projects.
- Prepare and present actionable reports and visualizations to communicate findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior researchers and data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and data-driven decision-making.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Education:
- Graduate degree (or equivalent experience) in Market Research, Survey Methodology, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5 years experience in market research, survey data, or data science.
- Ability to speak to clients and stakeholders about research design, data quality, survey fraud, and statistical methods.
- A track record of research excellence and strategic leadership in market research and survey science.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex data into compelling narratives for various audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of statistical methods and data quality standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating initiative and leadership.
- Ability to support and enhance strategic client relationships.
- Experience in client-side and agency/vendor-side market research.
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or trade publications.
- Active participation in industry associations and conferences.
