Compensation Base Range: $85,000 - $105,000 Annually

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Product Manager I plays a key role in executing REP's product strategy by driving the development, launch, and lifecycle management of products across multiple categories. They will support the Product Development Lifecycle from ideation through post-launch performance evaluation, ensuring seamless execution of the Product Roadmap while also aligning with REP's strategic goals.
In this role, the Product Manager I will identify market opportunities, define product requirements, and work closely with cross-functional teams-including engineering, marketing, and supply chain-to bring innovative products to market.
Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. As a key leader within the organization, they will help shape REP's product roadmap, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure REP continues to deliver best-in-class fitness equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Focused on but not limited to:
- Product Expertise: Have a deep understanding of REP's products, industry trends, and customer needs to support informed decision-making.
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Support the execution of the product strategy and roadmap across assigned categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Identify industry leading products, conduct in-depth market research, analyze customer feedback, and monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Product Scope: Develop Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) that outline product specifications & requirements, competitive benchmarking, cost analysis, packaging, and key features.
- Product Definition: Clearly define "the why" behind each product and effectively communicate key features and benefits to marketing, creative, and sales teams to enable strong product launches.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, ecommerce, supply chain, marketing, and sales teams to successfully bring products to market.
- Project & Process Management: Collaborate with project managers to ensure key milestones are met from concept through launch.
- Customer Insights & Testing: Lead and scale product testing efforts, gathering feedback from internal and external user groups to refine designs.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Monitor post-launch product performance, drive improvements, and manage updates or end-of-life strategies based on customer insights and business objectives.
- Product Cost Analysis: Perform margin analysis on both new and existing SKUs and implement pricing, packaging, and product improvements to optimize profitability.
- KPI Reporting: Track and report key performance metrics, including new product revenue and other departmental goals.
- NPI Budgeting & Planning: Assist in developing an annual product roadmap with launch timelines and projected revenue for new products.
- Stakeholder Communication: Own key product meetings, including gate reviews, design reviews, marketing kickoffs, 30-day success reviews, and change control meetings, often involving senior leadership.
- Product Launch Support: Act as the primary point of contact for new product launches, ensuring smooth execution and internal alignment surrounding product pricing and initial order quantities.
- Post-Launch Analysis: Lead 30-day reviews to assess sales performance (forecast vs. reality), margin impact, competitor response, and customer feedback.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assigns, trains, schedules or oversees work of others.
- You may be expected to work on your own projects while potentially having up to 2 Product Analyst direct reports.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university. Masters preferred.
- At least 3 years of related Product management experience in the fitness industry, consumer goods, or related industry.
- Product Management Certification is a plus.
- Experience managing end-to-end product development from ideation to launch, with a track record of delivering successful products.
