The ideal candidate plans and oversees an organization's marketing objectives, strategies, programs, and policies. They will translate the overall marketing vision into integrated business plans, tactics, and deliverables. They will assist with developing marketing goals, budgets, and strategies and ensure alignment with greater business goals. They will provide budgetary oversight and controls to marketing initiatives and delegates resources and teams to execute short-term and long-term marketing plans. Not only will they delegate tasks internally and to agencies, but also execute creative assets and content.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Develop Marketing Strategies : Craft short- and long-term strategies for promoting nutrition-focused products, services, or campaigns.Set Objectives and KPIs : Establish measurable goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, brand awareness, customer engagement, and market penetration.Cross-Department Collaboration : Work with product development, sales, regulatory, and other departments to align marketing strategies with business goals.Define Brand Identity : Create and maintain a strong brand that emphasizes trust, health, and nutritional value.Market Differentiation : Develop unique selling propositions (USPs) and differentiate products in the crowded nutrition and wellness space.Monitor Industry Trends : Stay up to date on the latest nutrition science, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to keep the brand relevant.Create Educational Content : Develop content that educates consumers on the benefits of nutrition, such as blogs, social media posts, videos, and infographics.Ensure Scientific Accuracy : Ensure all marketing materials reflect accurate, research-backed information about nutrition, adhering to regulations.Influencer and Thought Leader Partnerships : Build relationships with nutrition experts, dietitians, fitness professionals, and health influencers to promote products.Media Relations : Develop relationships with journalists, health publications, and nutrition-related media outlets to increase brand visibility and credibility.Partnerships with Healthcare Professionals : Build partnerships with healthcare providers, dietitians, and nutritionists to endorse products.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : There will be no direct reports for this role to start. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.COMPUTER SKILLS : Advance skill in Microsoft Suite, Illustrator, and PowerPoint.Advance skills in Excel or Google Sheets for customer segmentation, budgeting, and tracking performance metrics for health-related campaigns.Knowledge of nutrition-specific content creation tools like Canva or Adobe Photoshop for creating visually appealing infographics, recipe cards, and educational posts about nutrition.Understanding influencer marketing tools (e.g., Grin, AspireIQ) for collaborating with health influencers or nutrition experts to promote products.Basic understanding of nutrition science to craft campaigns that are accurate and resonate with health-conscious audiences. Staying updated on nutritional trends (e.g., plant-based diets, keto, supplements, etc.) and the latest health research to build credibility and relevance in marketing.EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE : Bachelor's degree (B.
