REP Outdoor Group LLC, an outdoor lifestyle company, is now hiring an Outside Sales Representative for the state of Missouri to grow our fishing and novelty gift brands. This position is fertile ground for the individual who wants to have both a structured environment, but also the freedom to determine their financial reward. This position is responsible for making contact and selling to established independent businesses within our current customer base, as well as follow up on leads generated from trade shows and supplied lists. The Outside Sales Representative will contact customers to sell new products, new merchandising displays and respond to customer inquiries in a prompt manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent our organization in a professional manner
- Initiates sales presentations for new products and categories within an assigned group of accounts
- Resolve any customer service related issues
- Process customer orders
- Process customer returns according to established department policies and procedures
- Work closely with the Accounting Department to resolve credit issues
- Provide timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns
Qualifications:
- 2 years prior sales experience preferred
- Passion for the fishing and outdoor recreation industry
- Excellent communication skills by email or phone
- Be an effective communicator and customer service focused
- Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Dedicated and self-motivated with a passion to be successful
- Possess a strong work ethic
- Customer oriented to achieve long-term relationships
- Proficient with computers specifically with Microsoft Office
- Must be able to successfully complete a background and drug test
PAY: $50,000 guaranteed annual salary, or 6% commission on sales, whichever is greater
