By providing revolutionary OEM tool and validated OEM-Compatible technology, services, and intelligence, Repairify helps automotive professionals run better businesses.The Communications and Events Marketing Manager/Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of events, memberships, and sponsorships, while also leading internal and external communications efforts. This role ensures cohesive brand messaging across various channels, develops strategic content, and works closely with leadership to craft clear and impactful messaging. The ideal candidate will have experience in event management, corporate communications, and marketing, with the ability to drive engagement and brand awareness through well-executed strategies.

  • Event Management
    • Plan, organize, and execute a variety of events, including conferences, trade shows, field events, and virtual events.
    • Align event strategy with marketing and business objectives by working cross-functionally within the organization.
    • Manage event logistics, including booth selection, attendance coordination, materials, and speaking opportunities.
    • Oversee budget management, vendor negotiations, and post-event analysis to measure success and improve future events.
    • Develop strategies to enhance attendee engagement and experience.
    • Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners, conference organizers, and vendors.
    • Adapt quickly to last-minute requests, changes, and unforeseen challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communications & Messaging:
    • Develop and implement a strategic communications plan to support brand positioning and business goals.
    • Write, edit, and manage content for internal and external communications, including emails, newsletters, press releases, and executive messaging.
    • Collaborate with leadership to ensure consistent and effective messaging across all communication channels.
    • Support internal teams with clear and compelling content that enhances employee engagement and corporate culture.
    • Oversee external messaging for public relations, media inquiries, and brand-related announcements.
    • Ensure brand consistency in all written and visual communications.
  • Maintain and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of events and communications strategies.
  • Continuously explore new ways to optimize Repairify’s presence at industry events and enhance communications impact.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in event management, corporate communications, or marketing.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
  • Experience working with senior leadership on messaging and internal communications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM platforms, and event management software is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables, deadlines, and stakeholders at once

Supervisory responsibilities

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Work environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers.

 

Physical demands

This role includes work in both an office setting and traveling to support field-based events. Physical requirements also include occasional lifting/carrying of 40 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions.  Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles.

 

Travel required

This position requires approximatel 30% travel.
