Job Title : C & I Engineer IV
Job Location : Plano, TX 75023
Job Type : 6 Month Contract
Description :
Provide support to multi-functional team of R&D, Program Management, Core Networking, RF Engineering, Transport and Technical / Training Support to fulfill multi-technology wireless network deployment across customer markets.
- Responsible for Commissioning RAN equipment
- Work and assist other Engineering teams with remote commissioning of CDMA / LTE RAN equipment.
- Provide guidance to customers on integration, commissioning, and onsite support during network cut over for new markets.
- Possess the ability and flexibility to work 24X7 schedule and / or on-call environment
- Support Field and RF Engineers with parameters changes, clearing alarms, etc.
- Assist with training junior / entry level Commissioning engineers on daily tasks and responsibilities.
- Conduct moderately-complex and detailed engineering, analytical, and functional analysis for the Commissioning team.
- Lead issues to resolution, while maintaining professionalism in all communications with both internal and external contacts. This included multitasking and driving issues to resolution.
- Applies strong troubleshooting skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
- Provide timely feedback on process / procedural improvements and operational inefficiencies.
- Complete tasks required to maintain service levels and availability of all site features and function.
- Responsible for routine or standard technical problems and responds to standard requests from internal and external customers.
- Make decisions within guidelines and policies. Is accountable for the contributions of the project sub-team.
- Responsible for the operational performance of the department. Directs the resolution of complex operational and organizational problems.
