Job Title : IT Applications Specialist Department : Information Technology Summary The IT Applications Specialist role is to provide support for all aspects of the organization’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Warehouse Management (WMS), and Point of Sales (POS) applications.
This includes ensuring each system functions efficiently and effectively in support of business requirements.
An ideal candidate will have the ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain the configurations and interfaces of each supported application. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot all aspects of the supported applications.
- Test new software releases and distribute certified releases to production target environments.
- Gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements.
- Generate and compile reports based on the findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues.
- Ensure Store and Host POS systems are actively and accurately communicating and stay in sync at all times.
- Implement and continuously improve the process for converting data from one POS system to another and integrating POS data into company databases.
- Build, deploy, and maintain data support tools and definitions for database file / table creation.
- Act as an RPI company representative to the POS software group, ensuring that RPI’s interests are served by the group.
- Participate in all aspects of the organization’s ERP and WMS implementation and solutions.
- Possess personal hands-on experience managing ERP software, preferably in warehouse distribution.
- Work with the application vendor for all design, development, testing and implementations.

Experience with Epicor Vision, Indago, or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
Additional desired technical skills include SQL, ODBC, JSON, XML, Postgres, MS Access, Excel, Kubernetes, Gitlab, Helm, Flux, data replication, and shell scripting,.
