Production Associates 2nd Shift

Overview: Replex Plastics, a U.S. manufacturer founded in 1991 and based in Mount Vernon, Ohio, is hiring a Production Associate. This full-time position offers two pay options: $17.00/hour with benefits or $22.00/hour without benefits.

· Benefits include 5 PTO days after 6 months (10 days at a year), 1 PDO per year, 6 paid holidays, access to health, vision, and dental insurance after 90 days and a 401K with employer matching.

We are looking for skilled and motivated Production Associates to join our second shift. Responsibilities include operating thermoformer machines, CNC machines, and metallizer tanks. As with all positions at Replex, we provide training to ensure our operators can confidently run our machinery. The goal of these roles is to help increase production output, allowing us to serve more customers faster while maintaining high-quality standards at a lower cost.

Production Associate Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

· Understand and implement appropriate methods of operating assigned machinery including but not limited to proper set up, machinery adjustments, maintenance, etc.

· Progressively increase production speed while maintaining quality and reducing scrap and waste, in accordance with established production standards.

· Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure production goals are met.

· Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.

Production Associate Qualifications for Success:

· Basic mechanical aptitude or the ability to learn

· Possess problem solving skills and ability to think "outside the box"

Work Schedule: We offer a 5-day work week for our 2nd shift.

The schedule for the 2nd shift is 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
