What are the responsibilities and job description for the Total Rewards Manager position at Replimune, Inc.?
The Total Rewards Manager at Replimune will be a key member of the HR team supporting Replimune’s compensation and benefit program initiatives. This is a hands-on role in which you will contribute to the design, development and administration of Replimune’s compensation and benefit programs. The Specialist will also contribute to overall HR team projects and initiatives. This position will report to the Director, Total Rewards & HRIS.
This position is based in our Woburn office and welcomes hybrid work! Local candidates are expected to be on-site 2 days per week
Responsibilities
Compensation Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical support in the design, planning, development and implementation of compensation programs, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and maintain complex excel spreadsheets to aid in the annual and mid-year compensation planning process; participate in HR and manager training & education, as well as post-mortem reviews.
- Prepare modeling and data analysis to support compensation-related decision-making.
- Partner with HR and talent acquisition teams to evaluate job roles and responsibilities, conducting job evaluations and market pricing to ensure appropriate compensation levels and pay equity across the organization.
- Partner with HR leaders to research internal compensation issues (e.g., market competitiveness, pay analysis) to respond to requests in a timely manner.
- Conduct job analysis to determine appropriate internal job level and FLSA classification.
- Participate in compensation and benefits surveys by compiling and submitting all necessary company data and statistics.
Benefits Responsibilities:
- Manage the efficient and effective implementation and communication of health, wellness, and recognition programs.
- Participate in the annual benefit renewal process, including participation in internal discussion regarding selection of vendors and benefits, making recommendations that balance business needs with the interests of employees.
- Manage the annual open enrollment period - including communications, systems implementation, testing, launch and close and post-open enrollment activities
- Act as a resource for employees regarding benefits questions and suggestions
- Oversee and administer all company leave of absence programs.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including required notice distribution, non-discrimination testing, reporting, internal reviews of benefits plans & deductions.
- Work with the COBRA Administrator to ensure appropriate and timely notifications to new hires, separated employees and payroll.
Other Responsibilities:
- Ensure compensation and benefits data is current and accurate in HRIS.
- Establish and maintain dashboards to measure key compensation, benefits, and engagement data and identify trends and prepare reports as necessary.
- Serve as a backup to Manager, HR Operations for employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Participate and complete other projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required, CCP certification a plus.
Experience and Skill Requirements:
- 5 years progressive Human Resources experience with at least 3 years in total rewards (compensation and/or benefits), biotech/pharma experience strongly preferred. Candidates with a significant biotech/pharma experience and/or 7 years of relevant experience may be eligible for Sr. Specialist job title.
- Understand competitive compensation and benefit trends and best practices.
- Experience in building compensation and bonus programs and managing benefit programs.
- Experience leading internal and external market analysis.
- Team player with a commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity.
- Excellent analytical, financial, and quantitative skills, with the highest level of attention to detail.
- Expert in Microsoft Excel, including design and modeling.
- Proficient to advanced skills with other MS Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Proficiency in HRIS software; ADP WorkforceNow experience preferred.
