What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Group Facilitator position at Reposition & Recovery Services, LLC?
Reposition & Recovery Services' S.A.F.E. Place Day Treatment Program is designed for youth ages 5-17. The program is open to both boys and girls.
Services in the program for youth are comprehensive in scope, yet personalized to the unique needs of each youth who is entrusted into our care. The program can meet the needs of young people whose lives have been impacted by substance abuse, addiction, and a variety of additional mental and behavioral health challenges. We're looking for Qualified Mental Health Specialist to join us as Group Facilitators. This is program is running Monday-Friday.
Qualified Mental Health Specialist will provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) with minimal Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) to provide specific, measurable, and individualized services to each person served.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent with three years of relevant experience.
- Car, insurance & good driving record required.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelors, or Masters degree in human services or closely related field.
- Experience providing mental health case management services.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency.
Responsibilities:
Supervision of Youth
- Responsible for being aware of activities of all youth at all times.
- Monitor youth interactions, model appropriate interactions, and facilitate problem solving with youth.
Supervision of Activities
- Responsible for supervising mealtime preparation with supervisor and clean up with youth.
- Responsible for assisting with supervising recreational activities of youth.
- Responsible for providing crisis intervention to youth and families as needed.
- Organizing team games such as soccer, softball and basketball, explaining the rules and acting as referee or umpire throughout the game
- Assist with supporting activities such as crafts and art, demonstrating various techniques and encouraging children to come up with ideas
- Communicating with parents, providing updates where required and answering questions about the camp
- Assist with checking on children with medical needs to ensure they have taken any required medication.
- Providing guidance, motivation and support all camp visitors.
Facility Responsibilities:
- Maintain Department of Health standards at all times by maintaining cleanliness and up-keep of the facility.
- Maintain Safety standards at all times.
- Responsible to clean any designated areas such as staff offices, staff bathrooms, etc.
Program and Staff Responsibilities:
- Responsible for logging all activities of the shift including each youth’s activities, events and housekeeping issues.
- Responsible for following program schedule of activities at the time assigned.
- Responsible for attending and participating in staff meetings and attending training as assigned by Program Coordinator.
- Responsible for working with any assigned volunteers.
- Follow all written program policies and procedures.
- Perform any tasks assigned by the Program Coordinator.
- Maintain open communication and cooperation with all team members.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
