Production Lead
We are seeking a dedicated Production Lead - Inventory to join our team. As the Production Lead-Inventory, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the production processes to ensure efficiency and quality output. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Team Lead – IT Inventory ensures the receipt and processing of incoming IT assets with the focus on effecient completion of (or “Finish Line”) of goods as paramount.
Overview:
As the Production Lead - Inventory, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the production team and the integrity of the inventory they produce. You will oversee production, inventory, and process execution. Additionally, you will be involved in product assessment and continuous improvement.
Duties:
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste, constantly monitoring activities for process improvements
- Lead and supervise the production team to meet production targets and quality standards
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth production flow
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits
- Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Key responsibilities
- Production efficiency maximized at all times through active people and process management
- Inventory integrity of all inventory produced by the production teams
- Inventory integrity of all inventory moved, packed, or touched by the production teams
- Production quality and standards (grading, handling, movement) maintained and improved through continuous improvement
- Ensure facility security protocols are enforced with zero-tolerance
- Conduct daily opening and closing procedures
- Ensure proper organization, cleaning, and safety protocols are enforced on the production floor
Skills and Qualifications
- Attention to detail
- Pro-Active engagement with team embers
- Minimum of 2yrs successful leadership experience, preferably in an operations environment
- Personal communication and team-building skills
- Process management skills
- Experience driving technical improvements through troubleshooting and creative problem solving
