Summary: Under the direction of the Maintenance Technician Supervisor, Maintenance Technician completes preventative maintenance and repair of plant equipment to ensure uninterrupted day-to-day operations. Ensures that all work activities are conducted in a safe and orderly operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
1. Performs repair, maintenance, and preventative maintenance tasks for all processing equipment, including diagnostic evaluation of equipment.
2. Knowledge of any of the following are preferred but no required: conveyer belt systems, gears, bearings, chains, motors, welding, and electrical.
3. Responds to unplanned operational or maintenance events.
4. Preventative maintenance tasks including lubrication, inspection, and adjustments.
5. Document and notify management in the event of any condition that may pose a risk to safety including physical, biological, or chemical hazards.
6. Follows all inventory and supply replacement part procedures.
7. Operates power driven machinery such as forklifts, boom trucks, or other similarly sized equipment.
8. Maintains good relations with fellow employees and conducts self in a professional manner at all times.
9. Maintain a clean work area at all times.
10. Wear required PPE at all times.
11. Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour (pay rate depends on experience)
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
