Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Reports To: Plant Maintenance Manager

Location: Moncks Corner, SC

Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: Day shift from 5 am to 1:30pm M-F, Saturdays as needed. Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing preventive maintenance, repairs or replacement of equipment parts, as well as overseeing Maintenance Technicians on their shift. We expect the right candidate to provide technical assistance and feedback to managers to improve our operation and minimize the down time. Reliable, taking initiative, and adhering to safety protocols is a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Carries out supervisory responsibilities which include but are not limited to, training Maintenance Technicians; planning, assigning, supervising and directing maintenance work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining maintenance employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire the team.

• Proven supervisory experience within an industrial or manufacturing setting.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.

• Knowledge and experience working with Gear Boxes, Bearings, Motors, Hydraulics, and Conveyor Belts.

• Mechanically inclined individual who does not mind getting dirty and willing to work on equipment daily.

• Always conducts self in a professional manner and effectively communicates with employees and other supervisors.

• Ensure that the proper written documentation is completed and forwarded to the Maintenance Manager and/or Human Resources in a timely manner.

• Immediately investigates, completes and forwards the proper written reports for personal injuries, equipment damage and property damage claims when incident is reported by the employee.

• Cross train employees to ensure coverage within assigned shift.

• Champion of safety programs within the RePower South organization. Leads by example by wearing all required PPE, at all times.

• Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
