About the role
As a systems administrator, you will act as a point of contact regarding technical issues within the enterprise environment. Issues will be managed within the corporate ITSM. You will be responsible for end user incidents as well as project component tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to flex many skills at once and learn new things quickly. Key Responsibilities
Acts as a support point regarding technical issues within an enterprise environment.
Provide desktop and end user support to Skopos teammates. Providing onsite and remote support for our organization and senior level executives on a daily basis
Ensure the highest levels of customer service in a collaborative environment with a keen focus on helping people resolve issues and problems.
Ability to explain technology concepts / procedures / policies in a non-technical way; collaborating and coordinating with members of other teams to track, isolate and resolve technical issues.
Independently resolve complex, break / fix issues following any issue until its resolution.
Serve as a point of escalation for incidents and requests.
Document incidents, issues, and resolutions in ITSM.
Document onboarding procedures for initial welcome training.
Stages and images computers (unboxing, setting up in staging area, imaging machines using client process).
Maintains and updates equipment records in inventory and stock as required by the customer.
Performs hard drive data wipes of refreshed equipment.
Maintains an organized staging center.
Ensure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
Apply automation efficiencies through scripting common tasks.
Lead and assist with root cause analysis as it relates to desktop computers and all peripheral devices.
Strong task management skills : ability to prioritize, triage, resolve and escalate in an efficient and effective manner.
Interact with IT functional groups and establish relationships cross-functionally to drive escalations to closure.
Work with teams implementing infrastructure projects.
Supports internal policies and procedures
Strong understanding of security best practices, worst practices, concepts and real-world applications.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to adjust communications based on the audience.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Minimum 5 years of experience in installing and configuring computer peripherals, including external monitors, cameras, printers, and scanners.
Minimum 5 years of experience in installing and configuring end-user applications, ensuring they are patched and optimized for performance.
Proficiency with remote imaging / management tools, including building and testing task sequences.
Extensive JAMF experience in a corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Workstation Operating Systems, Apple OS-based systems, and the Microsoft Office O365 Suite.
Scripting experience with PowerShell, Batch, VBA, or similar languages.
Experience with Microsoft Server Operating Systems (2016, 2019, 2022).
Familiarity with network administration practices, including IP addressing, subnets, VLANs, VPNs, and client monitoring.
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory Security Groups, Azure Security Groups and Accounts, Microsoft Exchange, and Active Directory Group Policies.
Exposure to Linux Operating Systems
ITIL Certification or working knowledge of ITIL Best Practices.
Education : Bachelor's degree preferred or 5 years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of Asset Management processes.
Technical Certifications : Relevant certifications such as A , Security , Network , etc., or equivalent work experience.
Microsoft Azure Certifications or 2 years of experience.
Intune Certifications or 2 years of experience.
End User Support : At least 4 years of experience providing technical assistance and resolving technical issues for end users.
Location
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing team members to split their time between our office and remote work. You’ll have the flexibility to work in our office located in Irving, TX while also enjoying the option to work remotely on certain days. This balance promotes collaboration and provides the freedom to choose your ideal work environment. All team members must reside in one of our approved locations by their start date.
Compensation
For this role our salary range is $60,000 to $75,000, depending on relevant experience. This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance.
