The Reproductive Freedom Fund of New Hampshire (RFFNH) is looking for a passionate and community-driven North Country Organizer to help expand our presence and impact in the region. If you’re committed to reproductive justice and want to help increase access to care in your community, we want to hear from you!
As the North Country Organizer, you’ll work to raise awareness of RFFNH’s services throughout Coös County and beyond. Your work will focus on expanding partnerships, increasing community engagement, and supporting our education, fundraising, and outreach efforts.
- Build partnerships with local businesses and nonprofits to strengthen reproductive health access in the North Country.
- Find creative ways to spread the word about RFFNH’s resources.
- Distribute flyers and zines to educate the community about our work.
- Table at community events to engage with the public and provide information.
- Recruit North Country-based volunteer drivers to help transport patients to appointments.
- Expand our emergency contraception distribution program into underserved areas.
- Create content for our student-led Instagram and TikTok to inform and engage young people.
- Develop educational materials such as blog posts, pamphlets, and zines to support reproductive health education.
- Plan and support House Party fundraisers in the North Country throughout the summer.
- Identify potential hosts and guests for fundraising events.
- Help spread the word and increase participation in fundraising efforts.
- Passion for reproductive justice and health equity.
- Strong communication and community outreach skills.
- Ability to work independently and connect with diverse communities.
- Experience with social media, event planning, or organizing (a plus!).
- Residency in or strong ties to the North Country region.
- Someone with a valid US driver's license and access to a vehicle, as travel throughout the designated region will be expected in this role.
- Part-time, flexible schedule (hours to be discussed). The position will start the week of May 26th and conclude on September 1st.
- Compensation will be hourly, with a rate of $25 an hour, for up to 20 hours a week.
