We are seeking a Per Diem, Per Diem OR/PACU Medical Assistant to work in our San Ramon, CA office.
We are seeking a Per Diem OR/PACU Medical Assistant. The schedule Per Diem including Weekends (2-3 /holidays per year). Experience with procedures and sterile processing required. OB/GYN experience a plus! Pay Range $26-32 per hour.
What You'll Do:
- Answer phones and schedule appointments as well as general administrative tasks.
- Prepares patients for treatment including taking patient history and vitals.
- Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties and answering questions.
- Assist physicians in our operating room during procedures relating to in-vitro fertilization (IVF).
- Maintain sterile field during operating room set-up and procedures Document procedures accurately and completely.
- Keeps a log of all maintenance and dates of services.
- Maintain logs and other records of medical procedures.
- Clean/turn over rooms.
- Empty red bags and replace them.
- Perform patient-care functions under the supervision of the physician.
What You'll Bring:
- 2 Years of Medical Assistant Experience
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn at all times.
