Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Interview patients to obtain medical history
- Take and record vital signs
- Assist with physical examinations
- Call in prescriptions per physician order
- Complete prior authorizations for medications and procedures
- Provide patient education, communicate with and assist patients with scheduling of diagnostic tests, outpatient services, and hospital admissions
- Stock supplies and maintain equipment
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and practice information and follow HIPAA regulations
- Answering multi-line phone system
- Scheduling appointments
- Participate in research activity
- Assist lab director :
- Semen analysis
- Semen cryopreservation and thawing
- Assisting in quality control and maintenance of andrology lab
- Sperm preparations for intrauterine insemination
