Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team at Rep's Place. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment, such as a high volume bar/grill, and possess a strong passion for providing exceptional service. As a server, you will be responsible for serving food, serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, take drink orders, and recommend menu items.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service and compliance with local regulations.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events or busy periods.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on menu and offerings, trends, and company policies.
Skills
- Proven experience in serving or related hospitality roles within nightclubs, banquets, or restaurants.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent sales abilities to promote drink specials and upsell menu items effectively.
- Knowledge of food service practices to ensure seamless collaboration with kitchen staff.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
