The Cashmere Sale Operations Manager
We are The Cashmere Sale, a division of The Republic Clothing Group. We are a direct-to-consumer pop-up store and website, selling high quality cashmere at irresistible prices at the peak selling season of October through December. We are looking for a high energy individual with strong computer, analytical and organizational skills.
Job Responsibilities
Technological Leadership
Serve as the technological lead for brick-and-mortar store locations and the eCommerce platform, ensuring systems are working seamlessly and efficiently across all platforms. Provide technical support for both retail set up and breakdown processes.
Onboard and train pop-up store managers on the POS system, ensuring smooth transactions and operational efficiency. Coordinate delivery of POS systems to each store location as well as fulfil and ship supplies.
Troubleshoot operational solutions in real time for the POS and Shopify platforms, addressing technical issues quickly to minimize disruptions in business.
Act as a technological solutions advisor to store managers, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting advice.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Communicate regularly with our third-party warehouse (3PL) to ensure timely and efficient product deliveries to stores and eCommerce fulfillment.
Troubleshoot with FedEx, when necessary to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain strong communication with the liquidation center to ensure seamless product information flow and disposal processes.
Collaborate with the web development team to optimize website flow, functionality, and user experience.
Inventory and Product Management
Maintain the seasonal product assortment across the inventory management system and 3PL system, ensuring accurate stock levels and product availability.
Manage product content on Shopify, including writing compelling product descriptions, setting appropriate pricing, and updating metafields to optimize for SEO.
Maintain and update product assortment on the company website, ensuring the online store is always stocked with the correct products and available for purchase.
Produce purchase orders for brick-and-mortar stores and eCommerce, as well as transfer orders.
Reporting and Analysis
Produce detailed consumer trend reports in-season to inform and support store transfers and maximize sales potential.
Provide regular inventory reporting at the monthly, seasonal, and year-end levels, including P&L analysis and inventory performance metrics.
Produce weekly store sales and biweekly payroll reports.
HR and Operational Support
Assist the Director of Stores with onboarding managers and store employees, ensuring smooth integration into the company's operations and culture.
Update tax liability into software for stores, input addresses, hourly wages.
Collaborate with the customer service team to gather valuable feedback, using insights to drive improvements in products, processes, and customer experience.
Process and Documentation Management
Develop, maintain, and update manuals, operation guides, and procedural documents to ensure uniformity and consistency of practices across stores and eCommerce.
Requirements :
3-5 years operations experience.
Proficient in excel.
Experience in retail processes a plus.
Exceptional organizational, time management and communication skills.
