The Senior Masonry Manager is the company's team leader on assigned jobs. The PM is responsible for business management, client satisfaction, and profitability of the job.
Responsibilities
- Thorough review and understanding of all project needs and elements, including specific challenges anticipated to take place during the job.
- Oversight and initiation of project pre-construction activities, both internally and with external subcontractors.
- Management and analysis of the project budget to ensure profitability and control cost.
- Timely and efficient buyout, contract issuance, scope negotiations, and conformance to all contractual terms and conditions.
- Management of RFI's, submittals, plan updates, etc.
- Preparation of monthly owner payment applications.
- Identification and mitigation of financial risk.
- Set-up of monthly project review forms.
- Implementation and promotion of safe practices on job sites.
- Development of comprehensive project schedules and monitoring to ensure the project remains on-track to complete in the allotted contractual timeframe.
- Issuance and review of all change orders, invoices, and purchase orders for subcontractors and owners.
- Creation and distribution of weekly progress updates.
- Project cash flow projections and subsequent updates for accounting purposes.
- Certification of substantial completion and final completion.
- Communication with project teams, corporate office, including Accounting, Estimating, project Owners, and Design Consultants is key to keeping Project Teams current, transparent, and set up for success.
