Description
The Territory Manager ensures the safe and efficient parking operations, while delivering service that exceeds our customer/client’s expectations. The Territory Manager is responsible for all aspects of operating multiple locations in a specified territory including: staff management, revenue control, safety, and client relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support locations by being on site and meeting with clients regularly.
- Auditing operations to ensure you can fill in, that no theft is occurring, that new processes are being followed
- Communicate details, facts, opinions and resolutions in all emails to myself, team and managers.
- Walk your operations to catch maintenance or employee issues
- Be able to find solutions and processes by knowing who to contact at corporate
- Work with managers to ensure they come to you only when absolutely necessary. Empower them to solve their own issues with guidance. Get them contacts and hold them accountable for using those contacts or trouble shooting who to contact if that person is non-responsive.
- Have knowledge of all location contracts and important terms within those. Be able to speak with clients about terms and know what is required of us.
- Prepare and support preparation of budgets.
- Support hiring needs.
- Operating fund reconciliations monthly
- Financial statement review (P/Ls) for all locations within your branch
- Monthly settlements including invoice and check requests for all locations
- Oversight and review of financial entries
- Oversight and review of payroll for all locations
- Training and assistance at locations with new team members, vacations, and/or short staff situations where you can help with daily bookkeeping duties
- Team communication when reports are needed from higher levels and corporate
- If you are not already, set up recurring team meetings to stay connected.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in account management and revenue collection.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Valid driver's license
- Previous experience in the parking industry required
