Are you a passionate STEM educator eager to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers and innovators? We are seeking an innovative, resilient, and driven educator to join our team as a Middle School STEM Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year at Liberty Collegiate Academy.
What You’ll Do
As a Middle School STEM Teacher, your work will focus on the following:
Drive Academic Results
- Develop and deliver engaging, inquiry-based STEM lessons that integrate science, technology, engineering, and math concepts.
- Use data to monitor scholar progress and adjust instruction to ensure mastery of key STEM skills.
- Inspire scholars to explore STEM careers and develop a love for innovation and discovery.
Foster a Collaborative Culture
- Partner with colleagues to create interdisciplinary projects that connect STEM concepts to real-world applications.
- Participate in weekly professional development, embracing constructive feedback to continuously improve your craft.
- Share best practices and tools with colleagues to foster a school culture of growth and innovation.
Provide Specialized Support
- Introduce scholars to hands-on, project-based learning experiences, including coding, robotics, engineering design challenges, and scientific experiments.
- Incorporate emerging technologies and real-world problem-solving to deepen student engagement.
- Stay current on STEM industry trends to ensure instruction remains relevant and future-focused.
Cultivate Meaningful Relationships
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with scholars, families, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive school environment.
- Communicate frequently with families regarding scholar progress, fostering a partnership in their child’s success.
- Encourage scholars to participate in STEM competitions, clubs, and extracurricular opportunities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (required).
- Preferred: Teaching certification in STEM-related fields (science, math, technology, or engineering) or enrollment in a state-accredited Alternative Certification Program by the start of employment.
- Strong technical proficiency in STEM disciplines, with experience in hands-on learning strategies.
- Preferred: Previous experience teaching STEM, robotics, or technology courses, particularly in underserved communities.
