Truck Driver Job Description
At Republic Services, we are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a heavy truck along designated routes and to disposal sites.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with company policy;
- Operate manual and/or automatic controls in accordance with company safety policies and procedures;
- Safely transport waste and recyclable materials to designated disposal sites.
Requirements:
- A valid CDL driver's license;
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects (up to 50 lbs);
- Excellent physical health and stamina to withstand long hours behind the wheel.
