We are seeking a skilled Data Vendor Sourcing Consultant to identify and establish relationships with data vendors that supply high-quality industry benchmark data. The consultant will play a key role in sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating data partnerships that support our competitive intelligence product offerings.
Responsibilities :
Research and identify data vendors that provide business listing information across multiple industries, including :
Automotive
Healthcare
Property Management
Food & Beverage
Other key industries to be specified
Assess vendor capabilities for providing comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date business listing data, including attributes such as :
Business name, address, phone number, website, email
Parent organization and corporate hierarchy
Departments and service categories
Build and manage relationships with data vendors on behalf of Reputation, negotiating data access, licensing terms, and integration requirements.
Documenting creating a historical record of data vendor assessments.
Ensure that sourced data meets quality standards and aligns with our requirements for creating competitive industry benchmark tenants.
Identify and evaluate data sources across North America, the UK, and selected EU markets.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure vendor data meets integration and usability requirements.
Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in data sourcing and vendor management.
Qualifications
Proven experience in data vendor sourcing, data acquisition, or partnership development, preferably within business intelligence, analytics, or competitive intelligence.
Familiarity with data vendors specializing in business listings and company attributes across multiple industries.
Experience working with data providers in North America, the UK, and EU countries is highly preferred.
Experience working with regulated industries and or com
Strong negotiation skills and ability to establish beneficial vendor relationships.
Understanding of data accuracy, compliance, and licensing agreements.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data quality and reliability.
Ability to work independently and execute projects within a 6-month contract timeframe.
