Job Title: Quality Inspection Team Lead
Location: Lincolnshire, IL
Direct Hire
First shift
Pay rate: $28/hr.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads a team of inspectors in the quality inspection lab.
- Train, guide, and mentor inspectors
- Monitor and assign priority to inspection tasks
- Review inspection reports and determine if material can be accepted or rejected
- Identify, communicate, and improve quality issues in assigned area
- Submit Non-Conformance Material Reports (NCMR) for deviations to inspection process
- Create and edit inspection routers and templates
- Inspect for compliance to standard and record data
- Calibrate gauge and perform gauge studies
- Communicate inspection results and details with internal team
- Coordinate 7S activities in assigned area
QUALIFICATIONS
- A high school graduate or GED
- 5 years experience in mechanical inspection and manufacturing environment
- Experience with quality control equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, surface, comparator, roughness gauges, etc.
- Experience with advanced quality control equipment such as: Hommel, Keyence, Spring tester, Hardness tester, Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Optical comparator preferred
- Proficient with MS Windows and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Experience with GD&T technical specifications, Work Instructions, and drawings
Salary : $25 - $28
