Position : Industrial Cook

Department : Production

Hours : 1st shift : 3 : 30 a.m – shift end (hours may vary) Saturday availability

Pay : $20.00 up to $22.00

Job Overview : As an Industrial Cook, you will be responsible for preparing large scale batches of vegetables or sauces safely and efficiently. This job requires attention to detail and includes physical activities such as heavy lifting and shoveling of ingredients.

Skills and Qualities :

Lifting up to 50 lbs (the whole shift)

Strong communication skills; Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.

Ability to work in a cold environment (Temperature Controlled)

Good organizational skills and detail oriented.

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.

Key Responsibilities :

Mix, cook, and process various raw materials consistent with daily production needs.

Weigh all raw goods to specifications.

Keep prep cooler and other work areas clean and organized.

Monitor and maintains proper rotation of raw goods.

Handle and stores leftover raw goods according to procedures.

Document work accomplished and hazard analysis critical control point requirements according to procedures.

Required Qualifications :

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

We produce, package, and ship an assortment of frozen food entrees for Private Labels and National Brands for both the retail and food service markets.
