Associate Principal, Database Administration - Postgres / DevOpsSALARY : $130K - $160K PLUS 15%LOCATION : Chicago, ILHybrid 3 days onsiteRequired 5 years postgre sql, Devops. 3 years terraform ansible Jenkins preferred. Out of a large enterprise environment with automation in terraform and ansibleThis role will design and maintain databases and database solutions that operate within prescribed resource limits and meet company standards. Participate in and contribute to all phases of systems development projects. Monitor and tune database and database application performance.Qualifications : 3 years' experience developing and maintaining complex applications that make extensive use of a supported database technology or 3 years' experience as an associate DBAWell versed in all phases of Systems Analysis and DesignExperienced in two or more programming languages and two or more scripting languagest Entity / Relationship or Object modeling and translation to physical database designsProficient in DML, DDL, and database utilities for at least two DBMS technologiesProficient in all access methods of a DBMS as well as the underlying operating system access methodsTechnical Skills : 7 years' experience with PostgreSQL (preferred EnterpriseDB (EDB) version)3 year' Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins & CI / CD skills(preferred) 5 years' experience with DB2 LUW; preferably on Red Hat Linux(preferred) 1 years' experience with DB2 in a z / OS environmentEducation and / or Experience : bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business[Preferred] Related financial industry experiences
