RER Solutions, Inc., is accepting resumes for a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Supervisor to become a part of our superior workforce. The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Supervisor will provide onsite and remote federal program support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the management of a Federal FOIA program by supervising and directing everyday duties of FOIA Analyst / Specialist contractors
- Apply experience and comprehensive knowledge of laws, rules, regulations, and policies on the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act
- Supervise the coordination of FOIA requests and responses with management and staff across federal agencies to ensure consistency and compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, orders, policies, procedures, executive orders, case law, legal guidance, requirements, and established deadlines
- Communicate and coordinate with members of the general public, legal entities, state / federal agencies, and other stakeholders
- Identify and prioritize content types and formats to ensure consistent redaction
- Implement processes to track, manage, and report on FOIA requests and review statuses
- Assist with creating an electronic reading room for public-access to office FOIA documents and information
Requirements
EDUCATION : Bachelor's Degree in business, government, or a related field required
