Summary : The Manager, Engineering - Electrical Engineering serves as team leader in Americas Headquarters to hire and develop entry level production electrical engineers. This position manages 3rd party consultants to develop conceptual and detailed designs of utility scale wind and solar energy renewable power plants and battery storage systems. This role manages and coordinates project resources with the project delivery team to efficiently deliver engineered work products and provide support for project development, construction, and operations groups. Requirements :
- Manages, mentors and leads entry level and less experienced production electrical engineers and designers on complex renewable energy projects to conceptualize and develop preliminary and final design documents in accordance with technical, commercial, and code compliance requirements to achieve a safe, well-engineered, and cost-effective project.
- Checks technical accuracy of work of the project teams and oversees quality management system procedures for the work produced by the group.
- Reviews construction drawings to ensure adherence to company, client, and industry standards and to effectively communicate equipment procurement and installation details.
- Maintains and enforces document control procedures for release of engineering documents.
- Supports RES estimating and procurement teams by developing electrical material and equipment quantities and technical equipment specifications for procurement.
- Performs technical review of vendor quotes / tender offers, RES purchase orders, and vendor shop drawing / technical submittals.
- Collaborates with and supports other internal engineering disciplines (Solar, SCADA, Civil, Structural) and / or 3rd party consultants working on other RES projects.
- Collaborates with the Director, Engineering to maintain existing and publish new electrical engineering standards, processes, and automation systems to reduce time, effort, and cost during the design process.
- Supports Director, Engineering in preparing weekly project updates for electrical engineering design progress and labor utilization for engineering project delivery team and senior management.
- Operates Company authorized vehicle when traveling on Company business and to / on project sites.
- Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.

Anticipated base salary range : $131,000 - $154,000The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
