- Evaluate on-site assessments prior to commencing work to ensure that the job is ready and address any concerns.
- Translate general work requirements into a prioritized work plan and communicate it to the team.
- Assign tasks and oversee the execution of the work including quality and production.
- Maintain work standards and outline behavioral expectations to ensure morale, productivity, and safety.
- Inspect and measure completed work.
- Prepare records and reports.
- Recognize, address, and resolve issues among team members.
- Manage differences and diversity at the work site.
- Organize and delegate work.
Special Requirements:
- Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
Safety Protocols:
- Ensure that safety is the most important function, follow safe practices while working.
- Reinforce safe behaviors and eliminate 'at risk' behaviors.
- Report potentially unsafe conditions and use materials and equipment properly.
- Ensure Job Hazard Analysis (JHA's) occurs before scopes of work commence.
- Adhere to and understand standard operating procedures.
- Receive job- and task-specific training prior to work commencing.
- Follow technical, quality and safety systems in place and determine appropriate action.
- Attend work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
