The Job
RESCOM Environmental Corp is seeking full-time Field Technicians to work remotely from the Fort Wayne, Indiana area.
Our Field Technician position requires up to 75% travel. Travel is usually alone with some projects requiring larger teams. Travel expenses are paid for by RESCOM and home office equipment is provided.
Starting pay for this position is $16-$18 per hour with overtime available at time and a half.
Benefits include paid time off and medical insurance. Staff are eligible for medical insurance on day one and the monthly premium is paid in full by RESCOM.
Training is provided.
Typical Job Duties:
Complete fieldwork for Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), National Environmental Policy Act Assessments (NEPAs), and Property Condition Assessments.
Conduct background research.
Update trackers and databases.
Communicate with project teams.
Job Requirements:
Travel: Up to 75% travel. Travel throughout the United States. Travel is mostly by company vehicle but may also be by air and rental car depending on project locations.
Physical Demands: Walking alone or in teams for long periods of time in various environments from major cities to rural landscapes.
Minimum Qualifications:
An interest in protecting the environment.
An interest in protecting history.
High school diploma or equivalent.
A love of the outdoors.
Ability to follow standards.
Disciplined to work independently.
Strong computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Some college.
Experience gathering data in the field.
