Together with our partner companies MariApps Marine Solutions and OnboarD Software we are looking for an Implementation & Support Specialist to join our team in Miami. Using your previous cruise/travel industry knowledge, you will take ownership of your projects and build strong customer relations with the benefit of joining a team who is a worldwide leader in the digital cruise and maritime industry.
The Role
As our an Implementation & Support Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in deploying our newly developed integrated software suite, cruisePAL. Working closely with our customers, your responsibilities will include implementing software solutions, providing ongoing support, and delivering training.
This unique position is diverse and offers opportunities to collaborate with local and global teams, with occasional travel.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement and support cruisePAL software solutions for our customers
- Foster strong communication and relationships with customers
- Conduct remote and in-person training sessions
- Ensure timely implementation and project milestones
- Translate customer needs into effective solutions and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
- Develop and maintain documentation, including user manuals
- Assist with software testing, quality assurance, and internal training
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience onboard cruise ships, or knowledge of the travel/cruise industry or software implementation
- At least 1 year of experience with reservation systems or onboard ship systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivation and a proactive, solutions-driven approach
- Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Prioritization skills for managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
- Fluency in written and spoken English
Technical Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- A keen interest in technology
- Comfort with various mobile devices (Android and iOS)
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Windows (including Windows Server and command line tools, if possible)
- Familiarity with SQL Server T-SQL and basic database administration (desirable)
