The Job
We are looking for a dynamic, high performing Policy Campaign Manager to drive implementation of a statewide campaign to help Missouri implement tobacco prevention policies. This person will lead and manage campaign deliverables and drive the campaign forward in its efforts. The role will also support high school youth advocates as they work on the campaign as part of their participation in Next To Rise, Rescue’s award-winning youth engagement program. The ideal candidate has a passion for advocacy and a background in policy or tobacco prevention.

Day-To-Day Activities:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive the campaign forward – including proactively assessing the policy campaign environment and recommending strategic moves to adjust the campaign accordingly;
- Maintain a strong understanding of policy at the state level and local level, particularly within tobacco control.
- Support youth advocates and/or volunteers in implementing campaign activities and events in their communities;
- Train the youth advocates and/or volunteers to speak to the media, conduct high-level campaign efforts, and present to stakeholders regarding the campaign
- Serve as a liaison between Rescue’s creative department and the client to ensure all policy campaign creative and messaging is aligned with overall program goals and objectives and all creative deliverables are being met within the respective timeline;
- Provide regular reporting of progress against campaign goals, and communicate campaign expectations to internal team and client.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree OR 5 years relevant experience;
- Excellent interpersonal skills (one-on-one and in a group format) – candidates must be able to work within a team;
- Excellent team-building, presentation, and facilitation skills; Commitment to mobilizing communities through strategic organizing;
- Ability to prioritize assignments and demonstrate a high degree of initiative; High-level competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint;
- Time management skills;
- Be solutions focused.

Pay Range: $48,000 - $53,000 per year.

If working from a Rescue office location, able to stoop, bend, reach, climb stairs, and move freely throughout the building. Able to travel nationwide as needed to meet with clients, coworkers, or attend meetings and seminars. Must be able to move boxed work documents, up to 40 pounds, in and out of office for travel by car and by air.
