What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office & Animal Caretaker position at Rescue One?
Rescue One is hiring an Office/Animal Caretaker. This position is 1-2 week nights from 4p-8p and every other weekend 8a-12p and 4p-8p. Applicants must be reliable, compassionate, dog savvy, love animals, and enjoy cleaning.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Caring for dogs in boarding or office. This includes walking, letting out for bathroom breaks, medications, and feeding.
- Caring for any felines in the office. This includes scooping the litter boxes daily and giving medication as needed.
- Facilitating owner surrenders and data entry.
- General office cleaning.
- Putting away donations and supplies
- Bathing dogs as needed
- Running errands and animals to the vet as needed.
- Assisting fosters and the public with questions as they come in.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
- Weekends only
