What are the responsibilities and job description for the Itinerant Independence Facilitator, 6 hrs/day - Lake Forest Elementary School position at Rescue Union School District?
We're seeking Itinerant Independence Facilitators to empower students with specialized needs. Your primary role will be facilitating students' independence and collaborating with credentialed teachers. You'll use behavioral management techniques, maintain records, and support interventions.
To excel in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with an AA degree, 48 College units or successful completion of paraprofessional testing. Prior experience with school-age children, training in Autism, and behavior management would be beneficial. Effective communication, teamwork, and adaptability are key attributes.
We currently have three open positions at Lake Forest Elementary School. The work schedule for all three roles is 6 hours per day 8:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid break Monday –Friday, 193 days/ year.
This includes all school and holiday breaks off, as well as earned holiday pay, vacation, and sick leave accrual.
