Pay Range:
$16.80 - $23.10Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
All internship positions are designed to give college students an opportunity to apply techniques learned in an academic setting while obtaining new skills. This is a paid internship offering full-time hours during the summer months. All interns are required to conclude the program by giving a formal presentation on their work. Please note that no relocation assistance or sponsorship is provided for the internship program at this time.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and creative Summer intern for our Antibody Business Unit (ABU) to help us with operating at the intersection of scientific data management and product marketing. As an ABU Summer Intern, you will have a great opportunity as a college student to gain invaluable experience in Product Management with exposure to a broad range of responsibilities. Your projects will mainly include assisting with scientific SEO/SEM review and enhancement as well as webpage content creation & review, scientific product and data/pricing analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with SEO/SEM evaluation of various products as well as marketing pages
Review in-progress marketing collateral for corrections and enhancements
Review current collateral, including website, for antibody reproducibility messaging
Data and pricing analysis
Research customer needs and suggest product enhancements to meet these needs.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager, leadership team
Program Requirements:
Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a Life Sciences, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline
Must have completed (at minimum) the sophomore year of college
Must be able to work full-time during the duration of the internship program
Experience Qualifications:
Relevant technical experience or understanding of antibody techniques, such as Western Blotting, Microscopy, and/or Flow Cytometry
Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and tools, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and content management systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey scientific information to diverse audiences.
Ability to analyze data, interpret results, and draw meaningful insights to support marketing strategies.
Proficiency in conducting research, gathering information, and staying updated on industry trends and developments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated proficiency in product/customer/sales analysis which will lead to defining successful strategies and managing projects.
Predisposition to a positive attitude, including a firm belief in no excuses.
Interpersonal relationship skills, leadership, and decisiveness to solicit key ideas and information and obtain alignment, as well as the confidence to make decisions regarding products and strategies.
Ability to work independently and without direction to gain assistance from many in the organization, without direct authority over those individuals, in order to make the necessary decisions to drive product management projects and requirements.
Proficient in planning, organization, problem solving and multi-tasking skills to complete assignments in a timely, efficient manner.
Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills allowing the ability to communicate professionally across all layers of the organization as well as customer’s and prospect’s organizations.
