Job Requirements Must have Cardiac Telemetry or PCU / ICU experience. Read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips. Must have experience with post cardiac procedural care (Ablations, cardiac catheterizations, Post Op Day 1 Open Heart, permanent Pacemaker placements). Must be able to administer and titrate IV medications such as insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone. Schedule Information Must work full time hours including 3 weekend shifts per scheduling period. Contract Nurses will be floated to any area where they have demonstrated competency. Unit Specific Information Unit Name : 4 North Cardiac Telemetry Number of Beds : 29 Patient Ratios : 1 : 4 Type of equipment : Alaris IV Pumps, SCD machines, Hill Rom beds, dinamap in each room, 3 Welch Allen Vital Machines, Wound Vacs, Temporary Pacemakers, Telemetry monitor, EKG Machine, Bladder Scanner, Doppler, Imobile for communication between team members.
