Position Overview

As a Per Diem Cardiac Catheterization Technologist, you will work closely with physicians and nursing teams to assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Key responsibilities include :

Operating under the guidance of the Cath Lab Supervisor and CV Services Director to facilitate patient procedures in the catheterization lab.

Understanding radiographic imaging principles and demonstrating skills in patient monitoring and cardiac arrhythmias recognition.

Adhering to aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile environment.

Compiling data for performance analysis and improvement initiatives.

Participating in on-call rotations and responding promptly when required.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist or Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program is preferred.

Two years of experience in a Cath Lab can substitute program completion.

BCLS certification is required within 30 days of starting.

ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment.

Active RCIS or RT licensure is preferred.

New Invasive CVT graduates must achieve credentialing within one year of eligibility.

Prior clinical experience in a Cath lab or as part of an educational program is preferred.
