Title: Research and Development (R&D) Formula Specification Coordinator
Location: Corporate - Beaverton, OR
Job Summary:
The Formula Specification Coordinator is responsible for creating, maintaining, and issuing formula specifications. Collaborates closely with other R&D team members to gather, compile, and implement necessary information.
Essential Position Functions:
- Responsible for formula specifications and data.
- Maintain and organize formula specifications logs and/or trackers.
- Partner with R&D Project Management team on formula specification release timeframes.
- Correspond with manufacturing facilities for formula specification needs.
- Assist R&D Project Management with administrative department tasks.
- Attend meetings and coordinates duties to meet organizational timelines.
- Capture photos for each formula specification.
- Participate in department tastings of company products.
- Perform special projects and other related duties, as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Administrative experience is preferred. Industrial kitchen/research lab environment is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Interpersonal skills to work well with department team members, creative and technical coworkers.
- Knowledge or passion for food and the culinary world.
- Detailed-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Industrial Kitchen/Research Lab Environment.
- Office Environment.
- Occasionally lift packages up to 50 pounds.
