Overview

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician are as follows:
Troubleshoot and perform all necessary repairs to the apartment community, including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and electrical. Installation of new appliances as needed.
- Ensure resident requested service orders are completed on a timely basis.
- Assist in maintaining the exterior of the property to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal at all times.
- Comply with all OSHA regulations and health, safety and environmental laws.
- Additional duties as assigned.Required Skills
The skills of a Maintenance Technician are as follows:
A strong preference will be given to applicants with prior maintenance experience.
A strong knowledge of electrical systems and functions, including troubleshooting and repair.
- Excellent knowledge of basic HVAC skills.
- 2 years of repair experience.
- Ability to repair various kinds of equipment and fixtures.
- Ability to work at heights and on its feet.
This position plays a key role in keeping our residents comfortable and maintaining a high level of satisfaction for our community. It is essential that the Maintenance Technician portray a professional, courteous, “We Care” attitude. Primary duties include Resident Service Requests, Vacant Apartment Maintenance, Inspections/Repairs of Buildings, Appliance Installation, and Preventative Maintenance.
Your qualifications should include Minimum 2 years as a Maintenance Technician (required), HVAC certification(required), availability for night/weekend calls, plumbing, appliance and electrical experience, ability to lift 80-100lbs, and maintenance of the amenities.
