Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Business Office Assistant for a temporary role focused on addressing a backlog of work contained in an administrative email account. The selected candidate will review, process, and appropriately disposition each email, ensuring necessary actions are taken. This role also involves assisting with transitioning to ServiceNow, the state's new ticketing system. Some of the backlog includes billing-related tasks that will need to be properly routed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process a backlog of administrative emails, determining appropriate actions.
- Route billing-related emails and issues to the correct departments.
- Assist with the implementation of ServiceNow, ensuring smooth ticketing and workflow transition.
- Organize and structure information to improve office efficiency.
- Make informed decisions on email categorization, prioritization, and next steps.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Administrative expertise: Experience in high-level administrative roles.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ServiceNow experience preferred.
- Attention to detail: Ability to work through backlog efficiently and accurately.
- Problem-solving: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and organizing workflows.
- Decision-making: Strong ability to assess situations and determine appropriate actions.
- State experience: Prior experience with State of Ohio agencies is a plus.

- Candidate must pass a background check.
- This is a temporary role, expected to last until June 2025.
In-office preferred, but hybrid work may be considered.
