Job Summary:
The Registered Behavioral Technician will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism, Emotional Behavior Disorders, and related developmental and mental health disabilities in the home, community, and varying settings. The Registered Behavioral Technician will collect data on programs, implement treatment plan, and assist the Board Certified Behavior Analyst with clinical assessments as needed. Essential components of this position are listed below but subject to change at the discretion of Reset Behavior LLC. Minimum Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
- Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
- Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with client’s individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.
- Follow the behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
- Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
- Collaborate with a treatment team including clients, parents, and caregivers, outside professionals, and co-workers.
- Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required training.

- Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board

Required Education and Experience:
- Must have a High School Diploma
- Must be a registered behavior technician (RBT) and registered with the Nevada Licensing
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Preferred bachelor's degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education, or related field or previous RBT experience.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift and carry clients with adaptive equipment.
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection.
- Must be physically present at the assigned job location, which may include home, school, and community placements.
- Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication.
- Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Must have Proof of Insurance.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel between different job sites within Las Vegas area.
- Must have release of information, fingerprinting, criminal history of record check, and ADSD application to become registered in the state of Nevada
- Must obtain yearly safety care training certificate
- Must obtain the basic life support training every 2 years.
- Nevada RBT must be renewed yearly
- BACB RBT must be renewed yearly
- Must meet the monthly supervision requirements of 5% of your worked hours. One of the meetings needs to be with a client.
Reset Behavior Benefits:
- PTO increases: 0-3 years= 80/hrs, 3-6 years=120/hrs, 6 years=160/hrs. (FT)
- Sick Pay: 0-1 years= 8/hrs, 2-3 years=10/hrs, 3-6 years-12/hrs, 6 years=16/hrs (FT)

- Client Cancellation Pay - 0-1 year= 16/hours, 2-3 years= 18/hrs, 3-6 years=20/hrs, 6 years=24/hrs. (FT)
