Job Summary
The Mental Health Specialist plays a vital role in supporting youth with mental health challenges. Duties
- Assist patients in daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Monitor patient behavior and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Facilitate therapeutic group activities, including art therapy sessions.
- Support patients in understanding and managing their treatment plans, including medication adherence as guided by psychopharmacology principles.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and interactions.
- Engage in one-on-one counseling sessions focusing on gender issues counseling when appropriate.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations within the facility.
